Neil Duboff is the managing partner of the Winnipeg law firm of Duboff Edwards Schachter Law Corporation. Neil has been practicing law since 1985. His practice is focused primarily in the areas of Corporate Structuring, Acquisitions and Financing, and Aboriginal Law with an emphasis on taxation, trusts, Governments and Associations. Neil acts for many a number of banks, trust companies, First Nations across the country, governments, universities, nonprofit organizations, First Nations development companies and many first nations businesses. Prior to entering law, Neil was employed as a bank manager with the Bank of Montreal. Neil regularly teaches course across the country of various legal matters. Neil recognizes the importance of being involved in our community. Neil currently serves as the immediate past chair of the St Boniface Hospital Foundation, a trustee of the City of Winnipeg Pension Plan, and is a member of the Society Trust and Estate Planners (STEP). Previously Neil served as Chairman of the Regulated Health Care Professions Council, a member of the Public Utilities Board, the Winnipeg Humane Society, The Children’s Hospital Research Foundation, the Winnipeg Convention Centre Board, the Sharron Home, the Manitoba Federation of Independent Schools, President Jewish Federation of Winnipeg, Manitoba Society of Art and Music, President Jewish Child, Family Services and the Native Association of Trust Officers.
