Carly currently works as an Employment Consultant at a not-for-profit organization in Winnipeg, helping people of all backgrounds find stable and sustainable employment. With a B.A. Adv. in Political Economy from the University of Manitoba, and a background in community engagement, she has always been committed to finding equitable and sustainable solutions to problems that seem too large to tackle individually. She believes that effective change, anywhere in the world, requires collaboration from everyone. Taking an intersectional approach to sustainable development, she understands that everyone has unique insights and solutions based on their lived experience. Carly began her involvement with KIDS Initiative as a volunteer on the Marketing & Communications Committee, writing blog posts and newsletters, before moving into her current role.
