Ama Kuroshi is a professional whose experience in finance, wealth management and IT, spans over two decades. She has a bachelor’s degree in natural sciences and a master’s in business administration (MBA). She is a certified business analysis professional and has managed several IT focused projects over the years. She is a co-founder and consultant at Adrian Christophe Inc. a consulting firm incorporated in Winnipeg, Manitoba to carry out business analysis, financial advisory and project management services across various sectors especially ESG projects. Ama believes that “One can chase a thousand but two can chase ten thousand”. “Everyone has something to give, collaborating to make the world a better place is the best gift we can give to future generations”. “We all have the responsibility to strive to leave the world better than we met it”. Over the years, Ama has been involved in several social impact initiatives in Nigeria, West Africa, focusing on social matters relating to education, poverty, and the environment, also promoting the UN sustainable Development Goals (SDG). In 2014, she launched an annual campaign called Oh Green! Which focuses on creating awareness to take action and help preserve the environment, she was the patron of an SDG club in a school in the city of Port Harcourt Nigeria; she also launched Sheerwood Cares, a local charity initiative focused on improving the welfare of orphans and the less privileged children in her immediate community promoting the SDG goals 1 and 2; No Poverty and Zero Hunger. Ama has been involved in mentoring, coaching, and training young people on personal finance and personal development. She has had the privilege of speaking to over three hundred young girls across secondary schools in Nigeria on self-awareness and personal development. She was the Training Director, leading the faculty of training for two years at her local church The Place of Grace, Nigeria. Ama is a certified coach and trainer with The Maxwell Leadership. Ama always seeks out opportunities to contribute to her community with this saying always resonating in her heart “I want to be empty, when I leave this earth”.
